Memory

How do you type your blog entry???
It is so frustrating now!!!!

Chrome does not support the Chinese input software (速成) that I had on this computer
( probably because it's OLD, that I can understand )
but they MAKE you use the google chinese input,
which is stupid as hell to me that I can never figure out how to type chinese with that.

so, for awhile, I will open chrome - open a new blog post - insert all the pictures - save it
then, open internet explorer - go to the same blog post - type all chinese content - publish

however, now, they dont even support IE anymore.
In fact, it's such an OLD PC ( or POS - piece of sxxt)
everytime I turn on this PC, so many message pop-up saying
"we dont support this or that anymore"
and ask you to download a bunch more crap.

so, to solve that,  I have to use the tablet which,
to enlarge picture is such a pain in the butt in that screen.

if you have any better solution, please tell me.

I have always save all my pictures in a stand-alone hard drive.
Just in case if this old PC decided to stop working anytime.

But, before the hard drive, I saved most pictures in Kodak.com
I am sure all of you would know what is it and
most likely go through the same thing just like me too.

at the beginning, I saved them in flickr, then something call snapshot,
then something call webshots, then Picasa web album, etc. etc.

one of those website, sent me an email reminding me what picture I had 10 years ago.

10 years.
ago.

this is my tiny cubicle
I believe it was lunch time as you can see the 2 cubicle next to me.

I took a picture of it because it was in fact, a new computer...
the one above shove under the desk was my old PC
and you can see my antique cell phone on the desk too (right side)

with the new LCD monitor

could you believe that I spent a solid 7 years on this desk
all those sticker on the bottom of the screen, is actually numbers,
that I tell myself how much retire money I could get if I stay longer.
by "longer" I mean I calculate it one monthly basis.
yes, it was that bad.

I am talking about 830am - 830pm (or even longer), 6 days a week.
the big computer in the above picture under the desk was the "new" PC...

I believe when I took this picture, I was just coming back from a ONE month vacation.
(came here and visit and see how it is to actually move and live here)

Usually, we only allow 2 weeks as the longest period you can take in one roll,
but what happen was, my direct supervisor, she was pregnant,
so I was not allow to take annual leave until she come back,
however, she did not come back, she quit, so I have to wait AGAIN,
until they fill-up that position,
that means, I did not take any vacation for almost 1.5 year.

who would know that just 1 year later, I would be quitting and move here also.
