勇闖新世界 2 (2016/10/31)

After we settled for the phone problem, we continued driving.

The big deal today is trying to get out of "French zone" as quick as possible.

Cornwall - 401 - Lancaster - 20- Coteau du Lac - Montreal - 20- Quebec - Cap Saint Ignace - Riviere du Loup - 85 - Saint Antonin - Whitworth, Quebec - Temiscouata-sur-le-Lac - Edmundston - 2 - Hartland - Woodstock, NB

Coming from Hong Kong like me, 

I am all for it to make your mother tongue sustainable,

but, you should still put up multi language sign on the road for traveller.

As soon as you step into Quebec area, there is NO English at all!!!!!!

When you are driving long road trip like this, 

sometimes, you just can't help feeling sleepy,

so, my brother-in-law try to talk on the phone with people to stay awake

Just like that, he got a traffic ticket, turns out, in Canada, you cannot use the phone while driving
(has to use hand-free)

Thanks to all the French sign!!!
The ticket was all in French too!!!
and because we were so angry, we just drive non-stop until we see an English sign again.

when you are up in the rural 

you started to see these sign, it's NOT a deer sign

it's a MOOSE sign!!!!! I want to see him so much!!!

We saw this sign a lot, it's french, so we have to guess, 

but when you look the picture from far away,

we all feel like it mean people are feeding the moose from the car window!!??

after we get out of "french area", we were just smooth sailing, 

they want to drive as far as they could

but when it get's dark, you really have pay attention if deer/moose jump onto the highway

and it makes you extra tired

so, instead of driving to next big town : Fredericton, we stopped at Woodstock

we arrived around 8:30pm and we still haven't eat dinner yet

It is such a small town that the staff told us 

the restaurant next door, is closing at 10pm and last order at 9pm,

so we rush there get some dinner and head back.

One crazy thing, we have 3 persons and 2 cars travel together, 

I did not drive because I am so afraid of highway driving

and my driving habit is so different with my husband,

I drive slowly, he drive at the top of the speed limit;

he like to pass anything in front of him, I will just drive behind,

he like to drive on the fast lane (because he keep passing people)

I drive on the slow lane most of the time.

in the end: I would drive him crazy.

but, my brother-in-law, drive just like him,

so, they are the driver in the trip and I am just ride along,

but I felt so tired every night.

I guess it's the anxiety that worn me out.

the feeling of unknown future.

Nothing to worry about but human nature just like to get settle down.

Luckily, road trip is close to the end already.
